does not offer a line of revision ankle components since in
cases of ankle reconstruction failure or the need to correct
other, earlier failed surgery, such as fusion takedown, a
custom device is usually required.
Endotec
has considerable experience in the design of custom joint
replacements particularly of the ankle.

Endotec uses multiple design concepts to best treat the pathology
of the ankle involved. For example where the ankle malleoli
or ligaments provide insufficient medial lateral stability Endotec
may use a rotating type bearing custom, or a custom with tibial
component sidewalls to provide that stability.
